The 2013-2014 men's indoor track & field all-Midwest Collegiate Conference honors have been announced following the MCC Indoor Championships that were recently held in Sterling, Ill. on February 14.

All-MCC awards are given to all athletes finishing in the top three in individual events and in the top two in a relay event.  Honorable-mention awards also go to any other athletes meeting the NAIA's qualifying standard who were not already named all-MCC in their event.

Thirteen Grand View athletes earned All-MCC honors:

Jordan Cheatem (60-Meter Dash)
Jimmie Davis (Triple Jump)
Hunter Donovan (Weight Throw)
Tanner LaBore (Pole Vault)
Lance Maxwell (Shot Put, Weight Throw)
Marc Osborn (Weight Throw)
Tre Porter (200-Meter Dash)
Kenny Simmons (60-Meter Dash)
JR Snyder (One-Mile Run)
Zach Vos (600-Meter Run)
Keonte White (60-Meter Dash, 200-Meter Dash)

Maxwell was named MCC Field Athlete of the Year, winning the weight throw and taking third in the shot put to pick up 16 points for the Vikings.  It was his second yearly honor.

Grand View's Jerry Monner was named MCC Coach of the Year by his peers for the eighth time in his career (fourth indoor).
