The Simpson women's cross country team ended its season with a 22nd-place finish at the NCAA Central Region Championships on Saturday afternoon.

Katie Murano led the Simpson women s cross country team to an eighth-place nod at the American Rivers Conference Championship in Dubuque, Iowa on Saturday afternoon.

The American Rivers Conference released its 2019 Fall All-Academic Team on Thursday as Simpson had 52 student-athletes receive the honor. In total, 438 student-athletes were recognized from around the league s nine schools.

In the final tuneup before the American Rivers Conference Championship in a couple weeks, the Simpson women s cross country team finished 14th at the Drews/Neubauer Invite in Ettrick, Wis. Saturday.

At the Bradley Intercollegiate Invitational on Friday, the Simpson women s cross country team finished 13th out of 20 teams that were mixed of NCAA Divsion I, II, III and NAIA squads.

The Storm women s cross country team had six runners finish in the top-10 to help Simpson win the Buxton Invite with 35 points on Friday at Pickard Park.
