Following her national qualifying performance at the Viking Throws Fest last Friday, junior Colleen Frank (Eldora, Iowa) was selected as this week's Midwest Collegiate Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week announced Monday.

Frank hit the NAIA 'B' standard mark in the weight throw (16.00m/52' 6") to earn a trip to the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships Feb.28-March 2 in Geneva, Ohio.

The Vikings next compete at the UNI Open in Cedar Falls on January 12.
