The Buena Vista cross country teams hit the course for the first time in nearly a month as they hosted the BVU Invite out at Lake Creek Country Club with three teams competing on each side.
The Buena Vista cross country teams got their 2012 season underway on Friday afternoon by running in the Bill Buxton Invite, hosted by Simpson College, and had sophomore Holly Neutzman capture the winning time in the women's 4k race.

Buena Vista Interim Director of Athletics Brian Van Haaften has announced that Bob Lenhart will retire at the conclusion of this athletics season. Lenhart has served as the department’s equipment manager for the last 14 years.
