A handful of the Viking women's track & field team competed for the opportunity to qualify for nationals at the Augustana Triangular Thursday evening in Rock Island, Illinois. 

The Grand View 4x800m relay team of freshman Kennedy King (Davenport, Iowa), sophomore Katie Roberts (Ankeny, Iowa), sophomore Natalie Potts (Altoona, Iowa) and senior Jasmine Nielsen (Denver, Iowa) hit an NAIA 'A' national qualifying mark, finishing the race in a time of 9:40.56.

The ladies will compete at the 2015 NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships March 5-7 in Geneva, Ohio.
