Senior Colleen Frank (Eldora, Iowa) won the weight throw with an NAIA 'A' mark of 16.80m, also an MCC-leading distance. For the second straight week, freshman Kelley Carden (Neligh, Neb.) was first in the high jump. She recorded an NAIA 'B' jump of 1.62m. Runner-up to Frank in the weight throw and hitting the NAIA 'B' standard was junior Jena Krebs (Washington, Iowa) with a toss of 16.29m. Sophomore Amber Jones (Lee's Summit, Mo.)  was third in the weight throw with a personal best throw of 15.68m.
