[Men's Indoor Track and Field] Track And Field Competes At St. Ambrose Holiday InvitePublished by
Davenport, IA—The men's Track and Field team began their indoor season on Saturday, competing at the St. Ambrose Holiday Invite. Grand View finished in 2nd place on the day and recorded three national qualifying marks. Daniel Headley won the 200m dash with an indoor personal best and conference-leading time of 22.54 seconds. Returning NAIA National Champion, James Plummer, won the Weight Throw with a NAIA automatic qualifying and NAIA national leading mark, Heart conference-leading mark, and new GV school-record throw of 21.57m (70' 9.25"). He also won the shot put with a NAIA automatic qualifying mark of 16.66m (54' 8") which is the No. 4 mark in the NAIA, highest mark in the Heart conference and a GV school record.
