[Women's Cross Country] Nielsen and Carbajo Named to MCC All-Conference TeamsPublished by
The 2014 women's cross country all-Midwest Collegiate Conference honors were announced last Saturday at the conclusion of the MCC Championships held at Pettibone Park in La Crosse, Wis. Seven runners received first-team all-MCC honors on the basis of finishing in the top seven individually at the championship. A total of ten more runners received honorable-mention all-conference recognition for being in the top 15 or being their school's top runner (if not in top 15). Grand View's Jasmine Nielsen (Denver, Iowa) ran a lifetime best 19:20 at the MCC Championships to finish fifth and qualify for nationals and land on the MCC First Team.
