This past weekend, the Drake Relays took place in Des Moines, Iowa, and several members of Adam Hinders' women's team represented Clarke University at the meet. Six athletes combined for three relays at the meet, beginning with the 4x400m team of Megan Lehmkuhl (SR/Clinton, Iowa), Myra Nichols (JR/Bolingbrook, Ill.), Austyn Thier (SO/Adrian, Minn.), and Samantha Francois (JR/Dubuque, Iowa). The ladies finished with a time of 4:00.78 in the relay. Francois, Lehmkuhl, and Thier then teamed up with Krista Bushkofsky (FR/Westgate, Iowa) in the sprint medley relay and ran a time of 4:11.55, giving them a top 20 finish. The final event that the women competed in was the shuttle hurdle relay. The team consisted of Bushkofsky, Nichols, Francois, and Allison Smith (SO/Port Byron, Ill.), and ran a time of 1:04.37, which placed them eighth at the meet and broke the school record.
