MOUNT VERNON - Cornell College's women's track and field team has been recognized as a 2011 NCAA Division III Track and Field All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

MOUNT VERNON - The Cornell College men's track and field team notched top-two finishes in seven running events and finished second in the team standings at the Cornell Quadrangular Saturday in the Small Multi-Sport Center Arena.

Cornell crowned three individual champions and had six runner-up finishes at the season-opening Sol Butler Classic Saturday hosted by the University of Dubuque. No team scores were recorded.
