Viking senior thrower Jena Krebs (Washington, Iowa) earned her second MCC Field Athlete of the Week award of the year announced today, the first of the outdoor season.

Krebs won two events at the Grand View Viking Relays over the weekend and hit national qualifying standards in both.  She hit the NAIA'A' mark in the hammer throw at 51.59m (169' 3") and met the 'B' mark in the javelin at 40.33m (132' 3").

The Viking track & field teams are back at home this Friday as they host the Grand View Invitational. Events start at 12 p.m.
