Trey Thompson and Blake Willadsen paced the Simpson men s cross country team at a loaded Brissman/Lundeen Invitational on Friday evening, leading the Storm to a 17th-place finish of 21 teams.

Due to poor course conditions at Water Works Park in Des Moines, the Viking Invitational scheduled for Friday, Sept. 16 will now be run at Pickard Park in Indianola, co-hosted by Simpson and Grand View. The women's race is set to get underway at 5 p.m....

The Simpson cross country teams started the 2016 season by sweeping its own Bill Buxton Invitational at Pickard Park. Sadie Timms won the women s 4k race while Trey Thompson won the men s 6k, in which the Storm owned the top five finishers.

In conjunction with Division III Week and Simpson College's annual Campus Day activities, several Storm teams grabbed rakes, brooms and bags of mulch and participated in community service on Wednesday, April 6.

The Simpson men's and women's cross country team were recently recognized for academic excellence by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), earning NCAA Division III All-Academic Team honors for the 2015 season.
