The Viking women set three school records, hit three national qualifying marks and had two first place finishes at the MCC Indoor Track & Field Championships Saturday in Sterling, Ill.

Grand View was third in the team standings with 157 points. St. Ambrose won the title with 229.5 points; Mount Mercy was runner-up with 165.

Sophomore Val Veiock (West Des Moines, Iowa) hit two national qualifying marks. She hit ‘B' standard marks and was runner-up in both the weight throw (16.07m) and the shot out (12.80m).
