Viking junior Kelsey Carbajo (Spring Hill, Kan.) was voted as this week's Midwest Collegiate Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week announced today.

Carbajo garnered her first MCC weekly honor by finishing high at the huge Augustana Brissman-Lundeen Invitational.  The junior placed 43rd out of 402 runners on the 6K course.  Her time of 23:56 was a personal best and helped Grand View place 13th out of 33 teams.

The Vikings next compete at the NAIA National Preview Meet in Lawrence, Kan., on October 12.
