The 2013 Capital One Academic All-District women's track & field/cross country selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), have been released to recognize the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

Grand View senior Allison McFayden (Omaha, Neb.) was honored by CoSIDA for her academic achievement and named to the District Five College Division Academic Team. The All-American and All-Conference performer majoring in Graphic Design has maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average during her four year career at Grand View.

The Academic All‐District teams include the student‐athletes in NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II and NCAA Division III participants, while the College Division team combines NAIA, Canadian and two‐year schools.

First‐team Academic All‐District honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All‐America Team ballot, where first-, second‐ and third‐team All‐America honorees will be selected later this month.
