Three Viking women's track & field athletes had notable performances on the final day of the 2013 NAIA Track & Field Championships Saturday in Marion, Ind.

Senior Devon Jensen (Underwood, Iowa) capped off her field career at GV with a personal record and school record effort in the discus. Jensen placed ninth overall with a throw of 45.04m (147'9").

Sophomore Val Veiock (West Des Moines, Iowa) also competed in the discus and finished twelfth with a toss of 42.60m (139' 9").

Kelsey Carbajo (Spring Hill, Kan.) turned in the second best marathon time in GV history. The junior finished race in 3:19.30.
