Grand View won the MCC outdoor track & field title for the third straight year in Oskaloosa, Iowa today.  Reigning in twelve events, including the decathlon won two weekends ago (Bryce Adger), throughout the championships, the Vikings finished on top as a team with 304 total points in the two-day event.  

Junior Lance Maxwell (Racine, Wis.) was voted as the MCC Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year.  Maxwell was crowned champion of the discus and hammer with throws of 47.52 meters and 50.70 meters.  He also placed second in the shot put with a throw of 14.51 meters and was fourth in the javelin (42.53 meters).
