Bryce Adger (Carrollton, Texas) has been selected as this week's MCC Field Athlete of the Week. Adger claimed his third accolade (second in a row) by winning the Decathlon at the MCC Multi-Event Championships.  The junior eclipsed a national-qualifying mark with 5,974 points (5th in the NAIA).  He won four of the ten events, including the long jump, pole vault, 400-meter dash, and 1,500-meter run.  His pole vault of 14-3.25 broke the school record.

Adger and the Viking men's and women's track & field teams will compete at home this Friday, April 26, as Grand View hosts the Viking Classic. Field events begin at 10 a.m. and running events at Noon.
